Dr. Todd Lang, OD, DipACLM, DipABO, Optometric Physician
Dr. Lang has more than 30 years of clinical practice experience and has been serving the Punta Gorda area since 1991.
Dr. Lang is currently the only optometrist board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine in the United States. He is proficient in treating and managing eye diseases (such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy), eye trauma, infections, injuries, emergency care, and more.
Dr. Lang is also LASIK-certified in co-management, a Board Certified Optometric Physician, a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry, a Diplomat of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, a Member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and a Member of the American Optometric Association.

Jennifer is our Office Manager and has been a dedicated team member with Bayside Eye Center since September of 2014.
She is certified in Office Management, Optometric coding and Diopsys, a modern visual electrophysiology medical device that help eye care professionals analyze the entire visual pathway for visual and neuro-visual disorder. She has been in the medical field for over 22 years.
She was born in Wautoma, Wisconsin, and moved to Florida in August of 2014. She lives in Punta Gorda with her husband Travis and their two dogs. She has two children, Brett and Jordan and 2 grandchildren.
Jennifer loves going to the beach and fun adventures with her husband.
Amanda Newland is a Licensed Optician at our Punta Gorda location. She started her optical career in 2011 as an optometric technician learning all aspects of retail optical including edging lenses. She graduated in 2014 with an Associate’s Degree in Opticianry from Hillsborough Community College.
She chose Opticianry after working in a number of health care fields, deciding that a career in optics was both a healthy challenge and very rewarding. Her favorite tasks are repairing glasses and dispensing glasses to first time wearers, especially children.
Amanda lives in Venice with her husband Justin, and their son Caleb. They also have a small zoo of rescued pets, currently including two cats and two dogs. When she’s not at Disney with her family, she enjoys, jogging, reading, and watching Star Wars with her son.
Amber has been in the medical field for 8 years. She was born in Aiken, South Carolina and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida at the age of eleven. Amber has been married to her husband for eleven years and has a beautiful two-year-old son named Carden. She loves reading and spending time with her family.
Emily is a Patient Care Representative and has been working in the medical field for 8 years. She joined Center For Sight in early 2020.
Emily was born and raised in the country on a small farm just outside of Antigo, Wisconsin. She moved to Florida four years ago for the warmth and to walk the beach. She loves spending time with her husband Dennis and their four sons, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. In her free time, Emily loves crafting and painting and making homemade cards.
Dr. Lang will be seeing patients at his new location in Port Charlotte as of Tuesday, December 20,2022. We look forward to seeing you in our new office!
